해설
㉠은 windward, ㉡은 leeward이다. 바람을 같은 쪽에 받는 두 범선 중 풍상(바람이 불어오는 쪽) 범선이 피한다.
Rule 12(a)(ii)는 “the vessel which is to windward shall keep out of the way of the vessel which is to leeward”라고 정한다.
- port / starboard: 바람을 서로 다른 쪽에 받을 때 쓰는 기준(좌현에 바람을 받는 범선이 피항)으로, 같은 쪽 바람 상황이 아니다.
