지문은 "a clause in the contract addressing the issue of complimentary and/or reduced rate rooms"라며 complimentary를 reduced rate(할인 요금)와 나란히 병렬했다.
이어지는 "one complimentary guest room for every 50 to 100 guest rooms booked"는 객실 50~100실을 예약하면 1실을 무료로 제공한다는 호텔업계의 통상 관행(rule of thumb)으로, 무료라는 해석에서만 뜻이 통한다.
- complicated(복잡한)는 철자만 비슷할 뿐 뜻이 전혀 다르고, expensive(비싼)는 무상 제공 관행과 정반대다.
